‘Hold’ Your Thoughts
September 30, 2009
Compilation of random thoughts I’ve jotted down while on hold:
- How did Perez Hilton get so ‘famous’?
- Why does Rachael Ray try so hard?
- What is the point of quoting tabloids as sources?
- Why does Diet Coke taste so different than regular Coke?
- Why does A&W carry A&W soda (owned by Coke) since the Yum Brands! company only carries Pepsi Products?
- Why is Diet Pepsi so much sweeter than Diet Coke?
- Why does Dasani (owned by Coke) taste better than Aquafina (owned by Pepsi)?
- Would people spend $1 million differently if they earned it, versus winning it?
- How did Sarah Silverman come up with the concept “Fucking Matt Damon”? and did Jimmy Kimmel really not know she made the video?
- Did Mike Myers copy part of his vision of Fat Bastard from Austin Powers to create Shrek?
- Ooh, I should check my FarmVille on Facebook!
- Why won’t my Farmville load?! Ugh!
More to come I’m sure.
Do we really need Vaginas?
September 28, 2009
Ask yourself: When was the last time my vagina made me happy? Certainly not today when the doctor’s nurse called to tell me that I have copius amounts of bacteria in my vagina, also known as Bacterial Vaginosis. Yay for antibiotics! I haven’t been doing anything lately out of the ordinary except getting the Mirena IUD put in, checked on, and taken out. I believe the doctor is the one who gave me my current infection. All the poking, prodding, and inspecting my junk. Ugh. I also like that I’ll be on these antibiotics when I take my first and only vacation this year and next year. Goodie. After all of the problems I had with my IUD, of course it would do something like give me an infection to make it’s existance known even more. Never again will I do an IUD.
Tomorrow after work I have to go pick up my prescription and take it for however long it says. I think my body is trying to tell me something, I just wish I knew what it was. Maybe it is telling me what I hope it is telling me, and necessary precautions can now be taken so that all parties can win. Except for, of course, my vagina. I’m still mad at it.

Will be away from the computer for 6 days next week when I go to Montana to visit my family. What will you do to survive my absense? hehe, Just kidding
.
I have a number of errands to run just to finish some things up before I go. Basic groceries for the house, new toothbrush heads for Hubby, checks to deposit into the bank, orders to wrap up and get paid for from my Mary Kay business, place any last minute or new customer orders to be shipped while I’m gone, buy new bras at Victoria’s Secret since the two I have are broken and stretched out after losing my weight., etc etc etc.
I am so excited though about getting back and seeing my family. It sounds weird, but I miss the smells of my my moms house, and that of my grandparents. <3 home.
Tetnis Shoulder
September 24, 2009
So, I had the tetnis shot on Tuesday in my left arm. I cannot describe the kind of pain I had the next day. I have a problem with my left shoulder from work and constant overexurtion, but with the shot too, holy cow. it feels like my shoulder is already 1/2 popped out of socket, and with the constant pain of the shot just sucked. Today is a lot better, I feel more pain from my regular shoulder issues then the Tetnis now. Which is good.
I had some spotting yesterday from the IUD removal, but this morning has been more, and more cramps. Boo. I have a lot to do today as far as cleaning up before we have a couple people over tomorrow. I have to tidy the downstairs, my office, the front room, the living room, our bedroom, two bathrooms etc. Just little things, not likea tornado rolled through them all.
We’ve done pretty good about tidying up lately.
Practice as Hubby calls it.
Hey Man… I’m Alive
September 22, 2009
**Points if you can guess the artist that I”m currently listening to.
I had a doctor appointment this morning and it went well. I had my IUD removed. I got my medication changed. The pain was substantially less getting the blasted thing removed than getting it put in. That is for sure! My nurse read my charts though, and decided today was the day to get me to get a tetnis shot and the flu shot. Lucky me, a shot in each arm. My left arm, the tetnis arm, hurts a lot worse. My arm feels heavy lol.
So, my dad and grandma are coming down on Friday to the Puyallup Fair (also to see LeAnn Rimes in concert) which is in the near area, and I invited them to come see our new house. My dad hasn’t been in my residence since 2005. My grandma since 2006. Should be interesting to say the least. I have some rearranging to do in my office, a couple of you know why. Just don’t want to cause drama or a to more questions that don’t need to be asked. lol
As always, thanks for stopping by. I am getting thirsty and got some more tidying up.
** Points don’t actually count for anything… But thanks for playing…:):):):)

Trying To Find A Voice
September 15, 2009
Why is it that my doctor refuses to actually do anything about my pain. I went in before about the pain and she ordered an ultrasound. They found a cyst – what about my pain? She ordered a new ultrasound for November to monitor the cyst – what about my pain? I called this morning at 4am to the 24-hour consulting nurses and said I’m still in pain – she suggested I get seen today, but there are no avaiable appointments – what about my pain? I am going in next Tuesday to get my IUD out to rule it out as a problem – what about my pain? I can continue to eat Tylenol and IB Proufen – what about my pain that comes through? I feel like no matter how much I tell these people I am still in pain, they’re doing nothing. They’re planning to just watch my cyst get bigger, so what comes in November? Surgery? Draining? Do you mornons even know what kind of cyst it is? You realize I’m at risk for being the third generation of women to get cancer in my baby maker, so why not do a little more about this? UGH!
Busy Weekend
September 13, 2009
- Friday night we ended up going to see 9 at the theater. It wasn’t that great.
- Yesterday we went to the Puyallup Fair, it was actually pretty fun. We spent most of the time laughing and catching up with friends.
- Today we’re going to go to a friends house for dinner.
Do The Puyallup
September 10, 2009
So, every year in our area there is an annual fair, The Puyallup Fair. Traffic gets backed up, the streets are a nightmare, and the fair actually kind of sucks. But we go. Every year we get free tickets, and Hubby says how he hates the fair, with a passion, but we go anyway. This year, the fair opens tomorrow, and we’re going Saturday. Our ‘dates’ are newlywed friends of ours who we haven’t seen in over a year. Over a year ago we decided it would be best if we weren’t friends – in not so many words of course. We’re going to give this whole thing a second go.
I really do enjoy them as friends, so we’ll see just how this goes.
November
September 9, 2009
I cannot freaking wait until November when the doctor will tell me what is going on in my belly. I would like to know what she is going to do about this cyst and when I can have a baby.
Hubby and I have been talking that since things keep seeming to go down hill for my baby maker, it may be good to have kids sooner than later. He is just trying to get ready for the whole experience. Pretty much depending on what the doctor says and how Hubby is feeling when we get our news, we will plan then when we’ll have kids. Hopefully, we can be having a baby by the end of next year or the beginning of the year in 2011. I will keep you updated, but please keep us in your thoughts. You all know how much I want babies! Cross your fingers for us!
[[**EDIT: Since some of you are new to my blog, let me say that my concerns are not only about this cyst, they are also due to my mom and grandma both having cancer in their baby makers and having full hysterectomies in their early 30's. I feel pressured not just by my maternal age, but by my genetics.
PS: thank you for your thoughts nonetheless.**]]
