So, I wrote my dad an email in Ocotober and he still hasn’t responded.

I wrote him one last time to see if he’d ever buck up and respond, this was 2 days go. I still haven’t heard anything.

He told me that he is ready to start working on our relationship as long as I am… I told him I am, but he still never freakin responded.

Am I just crazy to think that a decent person would actually write back? Busy or not, no one is ever that busy.

 

[[**UPDATE** --- He actually wrote back, we have emailed back and forth a couple times. We're going to try to make this work. I forewarned him, that's not going to be the same as before. and he accepted my terms.**]]

So, my new job is fun, for the most part. I like that it keeps me busy, but sometimes, I get overwhelmed and bad things happen. Like today. Today I got a bloody nose 3 hours into my shift, and it lasted an hour. Yes, a whole effing hour. Luckily, my boss decided that it was the pressure from the job, and not actually, me sucking at life. Thus, I didn’t need to clock out.

I’ve been asked to stay late almost every day,  so by the time my shift should have been over, my feet and back hurt so bad I want to just fall over onto the pile of clothes I was asked to stay late to size and put on hangers. LOL!

I had an interview for a second job today, it’s fast food, but it might be a lot more hours then my current job, so that will be good. Only problem, is that it’s night shift.  So, 6PM – 2AM potentially. Then, my current job from 5AM-9:30AM. It will be a lot at first, but I might be able to make it work.

This next month I have a month-long Nanny job 2 days a week. I’ll be watching my friends kid while her regular nanny is in Japan. I should probably have mentioned this in my interview today, but it slipped my mind :/ I will let her know tomorrow when she calls to tell me if I got the job or not.

I feel overwhelmed a little with all of the interest my resume has produced lately because I was ‘offered’ a 3 month temporary position at a local Community College and had to turn it down because of my current job. Even though the pay was almost double :/ I need the ’security’ of having a regular part-time job, and not a contract temp job.

So much is going on, I finally felt like it was settling down, then I got the two calls yesterday and feel overwhelmed all over again.

I am just glad that Hubby is being so supportive of it all. When I told him I turned down the Temp job he was cool and understood. Just wish I knew how I’d swing the overnight job and the early morning job better. I’ll hopefully be able to ask for a set schedule so I might be able to work opposite days or something… Yikes, my head is spinning again!

So, I said I got a job, at least I did that much LOL I’ll be working at the local Ross Dress for Less from 5am to 9:30am. I’ll be working in the stock room MTTHF.  I am very excited about this! I had orientation on the 12th, it was nice to be paid for something again.

The first few days are going to be rough I’m sure. I haven’t woken up that early in SOOO long.

Monday is my first day, I will write more after work on Monday or Tuesday
