I had a wonderful day! I got a 12-month xbox live membership (finally ) thanks Hubby!

I got 2 beautiful cross-stitches from my mother in law.

I got some money from my grandma.

In July my mom gave me my birthday and xmas gift, it was a nice sewing machine.  (feel better mom, I don’t like that you’re sick with pneumoia! get better before wednesday so you don’t have to go to the hospital!)

   Happy (belated) birthday =) Glad you had a great day – im sure you will make great use of your xbox membership =D we are toying with the idea of getting an xbox (still!) . I haven’t done cross-stitches since I was young, might need to have a look into that again for something to do on maternity leave lol x

   I do recommend cross stitching. I prefer counted over stamped. If you do start it again I find photocopying the pattern then highlighting over the completed stitches is the best. For the one I’m doing right now for my mom I have been highlighting the pattern, and it’s ripping at the folds For all of my future projects, I am definately going to be photocopying the patterns as to not ruin the origninals. (be sure to copy then in color if your pattern has different colored symbols on it .:D
